During the opening night kick-off of the 2012 X-Games this year in Aspen, CO Rouse entertained an intimate crowd at the Sky Hotel with a “XXX” performance, speed painting a woman in a Vitamin Water bottle.

During the Boston Marathon this year Douglas was just around the corner in Cambridge, Mass. helping to create awareness about World Hemophilia Day through his 3D chalk art. This piece, sponsored by Inspiration Biopharmaceuticals, was completed on World Hemophilia Day April 17th, 2012.

On April 14th at the Antler’s Hilton in Colorado Springs Douglas Rouse entertained hundreds “disco style” during the 2012 Red Ribbon Ball put on by the Southern Colorado AIDS Project. Rouse’s Speed Paintings raised a total of $6400 at the event, including this image of Liz Taylor which took about eight minutes.
