Route 66 Movie Project

“ROUSE 66 – The Movie” (unofficial title) is a documentary film about keeping Route 66 alive, in an unusual and creative way. We plan to temporarily change all of the Route 66 road signs from Chicago to Santa Monica into ROUSE 66. We will engage in as many communities along the route as we can, entertaining, collaborating, learning, educating and sharing. This guerrilla-style adventure will be filled with as much creativity as the team can think up. Artists Douglas Rouse and Mallori Rouse will be spearheading this project, joined by a film crew and a select group of fascinating personalities that you will undoubtedly fall in love with. Friends, old and new, will be invited from around the world to join in on the fun and create their own adventure.

Once funding is in place a date will be set for the journey. The estimated date is Summer/Fall 2016.

When this film is finished we want you to not only travel Route 66 but we want you to be INSPIRED and to see how fun life can be when you are the producer, director and actor of your own life.
